The New BlackBerry 7100t
eAccess has been deluged with calls about the new 7100t since the press started reviewing the product on September 8th.  Hailed as the "Treo Killer", the new device packs all the familiar features of a traditional BlackBerry into a more convenient phone form factor.  The redesigned keyboard is just 5 keys wide making the keys larger and easier to hit.  Since there are two letters per key, RIM designed and ingenious SureType system that with just a few characters of a word will predict the word you are looking for and fill it in.  The more you use the device, the more familiar SureType gets with your vocabulary.  Some other highlights of the newest edition to the BlackBerry family are:

BES v4.0 - Coming Soon
If you haven't already heard, BlackBerry Enterprise Server v4.0 for Exchange, Domino and yes GroupWise is just around the corner.  Next month we will be running down the migration and upgrade "best practices" for existing v3.6 and v2.2 Exchange and Domino server again.  This month I thought we would reiterate the great feature set expected with this new release so you know what is on the horizon.  Expected feature enhancements with v4.0 for all platforms include:

Version 4.0 will definitely be out before the end of the year and probably sooner.  If you have a BES presently are not participating in the RIM SUP or T-Support program, contact us so you can get v4.0 at the lowest cost possible by participating in these cost saving programs.

Renew Your T-Mobile Contract and Get a Discount on a New BlackBerry
Have you been wanting to upgrade your T-Mobile BlackBerry to a newer model but were disappointed that you had to pay a "hardware only" price for the device instead of the lower "new activation" cost?  Well that has finally changed!  If your T-Mobile 12 month contract is in it's 11th month or later, eAccess can re-sign you to a new 12 month contract and give you a new device at the "new activation" price.  Best of all you can keep you phone number and plan just as you have it now.  All you have to do is move your SIM card from your old BlackBerry to your new one and you are set.

Upgrade Your Old 950/957's to a Cingular BlackBerry for $49
Cingular has given eAccess a wonderful program to offer out to our customers that still have BlackBerry 957 or 950 on the older Cingular Mobitex network.  This includes Cingular Interactive and Xpress Mail customers. The program allows you to receive a new 6280 or 7280 BlackBerry at an extremely low cost. 

Here are the program details:

Upgrading to the 6280 or 7280 gives you the advantage of international coverage, operating on a much faster network with better coverage, be compatible with the v4.0 BES and Web Client and also give you the advantage of a converged voice/data device.  If you would like to participate in this great program, please email us with the number of 957/950's you would like to upgrade and we will contact you on the details.
