BlackBerry Enterprise Server Management (often referred to as the MMC Snap-in) allows Microsoft Exchange 5.5 services and software to interact with the Microsoft Exchange 2000 servers. Back to top The MMC Snap-in will assist in the transition from a pure Microsoft Exchange 5.5 environment to a mixed Microsoft Exchange 5.5 and Microsoft Exchange 2000 environment, or possibly straight into a Microsoft Exchange 2000 environment with regards to the BlackBerry Enterprise Server. (Microsoft Exchange administration extensions in a Microsoft Exchange 5.5 or mixed environment are used instead to administrate the BlackBerry Enterprise Server.)
